Bursting

Busy day, starting with a large scale town hall (virtual) meeting with hundreds of staff firing questions, then straight into several other much smaller scale ones. Enjoyed a walk to a bench in the Meadows to meet J for our meeting. We were very surprised to see Steve Arnott running laps of the Meadows - went past us twice and as usual when I see people from the TV I started by thinking it was someone I knew and grinning at him before I realised who he was. Obviously in training for his James Bond role! :)
Dashed back for the last meeting of the day which was a bit depressing as the flaws in another system rollout become clearer by the day.
Took the opportunity of a gap before an evening lecture to go for a quick walk around the back streets and part of the park. The cherry blossom here is slightly ahead of that in the Meadows....and good to see the moon in such a blue sky. Home, made some mushroom stroganoff whilst chatting to A then listened in to Mary McAleese giving her lecture on Children, religion and the law before getting on with the knitting - now have only one sleeve left to do!
