Retro Rig

This landrover and drilling rig look like something straight out of the 1980's!  The scene doesn't quite qualify overall, as I don't remember Heras fencing being nearly quite so prevalent back then...

It looks like they are doing a geotechnical survey ready to build on this space - which has been empty for a while.  I'm sad to see any green space go, but this is a pretty unattractive wasteland with piles of earth and often dumped rubbish, sometimes burned out.  Hopefully whatever gets built will be more attractive and contain some green as most modern developments seem to.
