Blackthorn Blossom

We went on a walk around the woods today and on the way back home we saw that the Blackthorn is all in bloom.  We collected sloe berries from here in the winter to make sloe gin.  It was a nice sunny day but the walk wasn't as enjoyable as usual because of planes thundering overhead every few minutes.
