This week has been unusually busy with one thing and another. So much so, that today was the first day that J and I were both available to go for a walk. It was surprisingly warm as the wind had dropped and we enjoyed watching with our binoculars various birds at the head of Loch Cuan. I liked this redshank which was paddling in the mud, looking for a tasty snack. We also saw oyster catchers, dunlin, common sandpiper, curlew, greylag geese, a grey wagtail and a couple of starlings.
