All that remains of the old boat, the Monarch. Each year there is less and less of it. Pieces get moved or washed away on high tides, in wild weather, and other parts just eventually crumble away.

Its recent claim to fame was that it was in the Eurythmics video for Here Comes The Rain Again, in 1984. Actually, that's not really recent anymore! Hey ho! The wonderful Annie Lennox, wrapped in acres of shawl, getting windswept and wet, up by the Old Man of Hoy, then wafting about in a nightie, surrounded by naked flames! Still, I love it!
