The Long and Winding Road ... !

A very long and winding road home this evening ...

... Roadworks added an extra hour-and-a-half to a normal 20-minute journey as we piled up one behind the other, a never ending chain of discontent.

One consolation (or not) ... we did have the intermittent company of Robbie here as his lane and ours took turns in leading ...!

... Glad to be home at last ... and, yes ... the wine bottle is open ... Ah, needed that!
