Bothwell Castle, from the Priory side of the Clyde. I rather like the castle view from this point; it looks oddly topped, but the scale and grandeur can be seen. I was standing in Blantyre to take the shot of a ruin in Uddingston; a few miles distance but a long, long way socially speaking. I suppose it might have been the same in 1301.
