When you take the lorry out to get hay and.....

the narrow country lane you are on is blocked by Police cars and traffic queues!
A cyclist had ended up in a heap at the side of the road.
I, rather uncharitably thought he looked 'well oiled' rather than injured!
Everyone was being turned back whilst they dealt with the situation.
Narrow lane on the side of a hill and a long horsebox - not the greatest combination!
View wasn't bad though.
Thank goodness for a lovely AA man who came to our assistance by guiding us around. It turned into a six point turn rather than the predicted 75 point turn!
I did think at one point he was going to let us disappear over the edge but he was great.
Long route home knowing that the rather peckish ponies are less than supportive of a late eating time and Seth deciding that as we were now travelling back towards the farm we had just got the round bale from, he was all set for another tractor ride around the farm!
It's been a long day!
