Ramblings in Life

Station Pagoda

I took a trip to the small town of Celle, renowned for its castle in the centre of town and cluster of timber framed buildings. I had enjoyable day strolling about the town, taking in the architecture. I also found a moment to finally finish off a book I had received for my birthday. Sitting in the park, book in hand with a flask of tea and packet of biscuits, it turned in to a very relaxing afternoon.

Just bolting for the train home, I was suddenly struck by this fluorescent pink station canopy, which almost reminded of a pagoda. Despite the numerous pictures I cam home with of medieval timber buildings and castles, this image seemed to stick most with me.
