Holly Blue

We went for a walk on Yew Hill, our local butterfly reserve, not really expecting to see any butterflies as it was so blustery, and still too early in the year for most species. However, we did find  one male Holly Blue butterfly keeping a low profile on dandelion flowers. We also heard and  saw a Whitethroat and heard, but didn't see, a Blackcap there.
