Red River Valley

Glen Roy beyond Turret Bridge.

I had more furniture assembly at the cottage, early afternoon, while Mrs SJR did a huge pickup load of old furniture and cardboard to the recycling centre.
Late afternoon I had a ride up Glen Roy. Shortly before this photo I was chatting to some very nice folk, hill walkers from Midlothian, who were relishing the new freedom to travel to a Highland hill again. For weeks they have been doing various combinations of walks in the very busy Pentlands. Their choice today, the two remote Corbetts at the head of the glen, ensured they were not competing for parking places. Their concern was valid, given most of the main Glen Spean hill start points  were crammed bumper to bumper.
