Jamie's Lad

A stay at home day except for a quick visit down the road to see the week old shire foal Cowerslane Jamie’s Lad. A lovely bay colt foal, blipped here with his mother, Cowerslane Edwina. He looks like he is going to be a star and of coarse has the all important white legs. The farm specialises in shires and sheep and best of all a farm shop and cafe.
Most of the day was in the garden whilst the carpets and soft furnishings cleaning man came around and started our spring clean. He arrived exactly on time worked hard and did a great job, what more can you ask.
In extra I have included our nesting garden birds, the dunnock fledgling, a blue tit that appears to be nesting for the first time in a hole in the willow tree (leaving our camera box empty for the first time) and of course the friendly robin who just follows us around the garden and gets the food he wants for his fledglings. I should have photographed the blackbird then that would have been the full garden family.
