Hungry Squirrel

A bit of a theme continues... wildlife eating.

This morning Mrs madwill and I went to visit Harlow Carr gardens. First job was to visit the snack bar for coffee and a fat rascal.

Almost as soon as we started walking we bumped into fellow blipper Philiphoto, on one of his early morning visits.

I spotted a couple of squirrels feeding near the bird hide, and managed to point my camera around the hut, as we get inside the hide. Animal eye tracking in action again. Extra whiskery in Large.

We managed to walk over three miles around the garden. Then we set of for a walk around the woods, paths, lanes and tracks between Harlow Carr and the town where we stopped for a late lunch - tea and a toastie at the hut in Valley Gardens. We then walked back by various routes, eventually covering five and a half miles for the round trip.

So eight and a half miles for the day, quite pleased with that.
