The next linocut picture from our Angela Harding calendar features the blackbird and nest in a rose bush. 
She states that the nest was built in a climbing rose next to the front door but the birds didn't seem to mind the constant banging of the door as people came and went. Whether the brood successfully fledged she does not say!
