Close but no cigar

My butchers shop window picture appeared in the 'Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year' finalist gallery in the online awards ceremony but didn't make the top three sadly. The overall winner was a Chinese photographer of exceptional talent. I was very pleased for him. He roundly deserved it.

I distracted myself by setting up this artichoke shot which probably doesn't fit into any category other than still life.
