Autumnal Vibrance...

For the first time this year we have had the distinct sense that winter is beckoning. I didn’t walk early this morning but I suspect it would have been a woolly hat and gloves dawn. The Virginia Creeper is still putting on a grand show even as its leaves are falling. The day was sunny but there was a distinct chill in the shadows. Friend Cathie visited and stayed for lunch. She was keen to see Bryan the Birman as she loves the breed and hadn’t seen him for some time. She said she’d love to take him home with her. Of course it was Cathie who helped us choose Myrtle and Marigold when they were tiny kittens. She has an eye for beautiful cats!
