View from Ben A’an

My planned walk up Ben A’an today was made especially nice by the company of S&T.

Ben A’an is in the heart of the Trossachs (north of Aberfoyle) and just 31 miles from my flat. It is described as a ‘mountain in miniature’ because it is steep and pointy but at 340m, it’s a still just a ‘Marilyn’. The views were fabulous and it felt so good to be up on the top. It was lovely to chat and admire the scenery together. After the walk, we drove our cars along to a picnic place at Lendrick Hill and enjoyed our well earned sandwiches. It was a lovely day out in great company.
