Tables for two.

We are up at caravan again, Darren certainly wants to get his money’s worth. It’s his day off Wednesday so we’ve come up after work, meaning we were at site just after 3pm.
Unfortunately after about an hour the heavens opened and we had a lot of rain for an hour or so, not that it bothered Darren too much.
After tea we had a drive to Acaster malbis, there is a nice walk along the river, infact quite a few photos on Darren’s Blip have been taken there. As you can see from photo there are some caravan sites there too, one right on the rivers edge and 2 on the other side of road. There is also the Ship inn pub. Because pub users have to sit outside the landlord as been quite creative by putting some tables on the jetty, the pub entrance is about 75 metres away. You order and pay from the table using your phone, then it’s all brought over to you. I will say these aren’t the only tables the pub as, it does infact have quite a big beer garden, the downside to all this outside eating and drinking is that it’s weather dependent, tonight wasn’t particularly warm and with a threat of rain resulted in zero customers, at least while we were wandering around anyway and the pub was open.
I have to say I wasn’t particularly happy to be on this jetty, Darren does take us to some strange places, apart from the jetty I did enjoy tonight’s walk.
