WFH. Ticked one thing off my short-term todo list and started on the next. And I have got a big item looming now. Quite exciting though.

Brief walk at lunch time combining the search for a blip, fresh air, essential shopping and the quest for wallpaper paste. I failed on the last item as the shop advertised a petition to wind up the Spaces for People schemes. The more I think about cars the more intolerant I become: they harm people in the short term (accidents), mid term (pollution, inactivity) and long term (climate change); they rely on raw materials extracted with the support of dubious regimes; they take up huge amounts of space that could be used otherwise; not everyone can use them (too old, too young, too expensive). Let's start with the low hanging fruit and reduce traffic in urban areas where it is relatively easy to do something differently and a huge number of people can benefit.

The old blind school is making way for houses.
