Thanks, China!

If you look at this photo, you can see that the sky is a grey-ish white around the top of the buildings and turns to a bright blue above that. This isn't anything to do with the exposure of the photo - the grey-ish white is a cloud of smog hanging over the city. You can check websites to see just how much pollution is around, and just now it's "dangerous to certain groups of people".

According to the Japanese media, this is all part of the giant clouds of pollution that are blowing over from China. You can see them well from my office on the 16th floor. The Chinese government deny that the pollution is theirs, of course, so who knows what is true.

Anyway, thanks to the smog, today was pleasantly warm - t-shirt weather. So thanks, China!
