Edinburgh St James

The Edinburgh skyline had been changed somewhat by the development which has taken 4 years to construct.  The centre piece is a hotel which looks like a Walnut Whip, and has needed numerous cranes which have dominated Edinburgh for the past few years in an interesting way.
'The 12-storey W hotel was designed by architect firm Jestico & Whiles, featuring a winding bronze-coloured steel ribbon facade that has been likened to spirals of paper, a reference to the printing presses that were historically located in the surrounding area.'
This setup really is not of interest to me as I like to shop locally, and given the choice would always visit a greenspace/woodland.
