Color education

I am puppy beige and will wear firefly red lipstick whenever I feel like it. How about you?

International Women's Day...

Abuse and bullying don't observe color or status or international borders. I hope to live to see a time when we won't need a specially observed day to raise awareness. The only people who, when you think about it on the most basic level, can achieve that, is us. Us women. You can't change someone else's way of thinking if you don't change your own. It is more difficult and close to impossible for those in certain circumstances but if you take it and don't speak out, don't tell someone, it will never end.

......................................................................................................................................

Daycare Friday was extra fun today; the charter's maternal and grandmaternal units spent some good time with us. Especially gratifying was discovering that my kale/quinoa/bean soup is considered delicious by a two year old.

Color education took a forward leap. Instead of just blowing up balloons and batting them around the basement, we also named them repeatedly, sorted them into groups, shuffled them and reorganized them, all while bothering saying hi to the hiding cat fifty times.

New words as observed by me: dow (down), uff (off), awh (on)
The biggest difference I see is that most words one says are being repeated and there is great pride and a big desire to show off the ones that are already well known by saying them frequently.
