For the burds...!

Feel that I may have stumbled on a secret cache of George Wyllie "burds". Actually these are photoelectric lights for your garden, powered by batteries which store up the energy during daylight before lighting up at night.

The Garden Centre also had piles of logs with a board saying,"stock up for winter!" What do they know that we don't.

To cheer up the garden and ourselves I bought a bright yellow tub of bright yellow flowers and I am assured they will bloom through the summer.
