Stocking up on supplies

It's been bright but with a cool wind - excellent for my run this morning , less good for finding insects in the garden. After scanning the crab apples & the pears I retreated to a sheltered, unmown, warm spot in the corner of the garden, where I had slightly more success with some solitary bees.
