Not The Brightest Spark ...

Oh dear.  The saga of ineptitude continues Down East. 

Today, the electrician (he, who we were assured, would be "all finished up" three days ago ...) managed to absolutely astound us with his "skills" today.  We needed two sets of bedside lights hardwired into Portside.  They are what is (at least in this country) referred to as "candlestick lamps", which should provide pretty much anyone with an image of how they are supposed to look when they are properly installed ... but apparently our electrician is far too young and hip to know what a "candlestick" is supposed to look like, because he managed to install all four lamps UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!

To be fair, this is not an image of his handiwork.  We had the same lamps installed over in Westport Island (by a more "old fashioned" electrician, apparently!), so for this entry, I took a picture of this one and just turned it upside down to show you how they would have looked if we had not immediately let our contractor know that the electrician needed to come back right away and rectify the situation!
