BCSplash Showcase - Sitting by the pond.

It's BCSplash time again!

We all love heading outside with our cameras on a sunny day. 
Sometimes we have an idea what we're going to photograph, sometimes we go looking in the hope of being inspired and then there are those very special occasions when an opportunity presents itself. 

Blipper Spannarama was out for her walk on a beautiful July evening last year when she come across this remarkable scene that was unsurprisingly her blip for the day!

In her own words:
"The light was lovely, and I took many photos, but this one has to be the winner, I think - I had circled round the pond and was nearly back to where I'd started when I noticed mummy goose on the bench, watching her babies march by :)  I'm really not sure the woman even noticed; she seemed pretty engrossed in her book." 

We love this photo because it brings out so much emotion - the relationship between the mother and her babies, the beautiful sunny weather and amusement at the lady so engrossed in her book that she was oblivious to the events around her.
