Bahrain recorded 1,057 new cases, 7 fatalities and 967 recoveries today

A five-year-old Bahraini boy who tested positive for Covid-19 was found to have infected 33 others as a result of a family gathering.
There were 7,531 confirmed cases last week of which 4,180 were Bahrainis and 3,351 non-Bahrainis. A total of 7,421 were local infections while 290 were travel-related. The average number of cases per day went up to 1,076 last week from 1,029 the week prior.
