Newlands Corner

Bank Holiday Saturday and everybody was making the most of it. This Surrey beauty spot was very busy and it was good to see families out enjoying themselves. There are lovely views from up here, but not from the spot where we parked. We were there for a short time while we waited to pick up a three course takeaway meal from a nearby Italian restaurant. Normous was pleased to have a day off from cooking.
We passed through lovely bluebell woods on our way there. At last I got to see the real thing instead of my Spanish ones in the garden. (Extra)
