An Orkney Beach

CMC served a superb lunch today, her sister and niece joined us. 

We had a restless night last night and CMC and myself were wide awake at 3.10 a.m. discussing whether the bassoon is too muted in the first 8 bars of ‘Sarabande et Cortege' by Henri Dutilleux. 

CMC is considering placing a Wants Ad in the ‘Missing’ column of the Orcadian asking if anyone has sighted Spring yet.

Sofia Gubaidulina is 89.  I wonder if she received my card……
