In a recent episode of Gardners World, we were shown a video of someone making cloches out of pieces of corrugated perspex.  As we have some of this, hanging around after thechimp’s re-roofing of the carport and woodshed last year, he decided to have a go at making some.  The results were very successful, the process looked a little dangerous though
