Boulters Weir

We joined the Aylesbury Wombles this morning for a mass litter pick. There were multiple groups in different locations across the town today, the aim to collect 100 bags of litter to celebrate the anniversary of Captain Tom's 100th birthday. 135 volunteers ended up collecting 202 bags of litter (plus the usual collection of oddness including a BBQ and a toilet), as well as raising over £1000 for a local charity. A good day's work. There is an extra of Annie in a brook, thigh deep in mud (wondering how to get out again).

Late afternoon we took a drive to Maidenhead as I (Chris) wanted a couple of long exposure photos for a camera club challenge. I'd not been to this weir on the Thames before so picked it as somewhere different to try. Having been dry all day, it decided to rain as we got there but I stuck it out!
