Two Swans

A grey and rainy day in North Yorkshire but after two weeks out of the country, it's always good to be back, whatever the weather. This afternoon we took the dog out for a (very wet and muddy) walk down a local lane. We saw this pair of swans very close to the path and we both took as many photos as we could before Jasper annoyed them too much and they broke one of our arms...

When you see them close together, the contrast between the younger and the older one is more obvious.
