May Day

Today is the May Day holiday in France, so most shops that would have been normally open were closed today - so no shopping or library visit. The carpenter did turn up to put a temporary roof on the extension as we're expecting in rain over the next few weeks.

We went for a walk in the afternoon, dropping a DVD and CD off at the library drop point, and then along the beach and through town. As with a fortnight ago, the weather was nice and the beach and town was deserted.

Le Fort National was again empty, and today's view (and extra) is from the town ramparts, rather than the beach.
