Bergenia

Bergenia is a genus of ten perennial herbaceous plants of the Saxifragaceae family.

Bergenia is closely related to Mukdenia, Oresitrophe, Astilboides, and Rodgersia.

The species are native to Central Asia, from Afghanistan to China. The plants have a spirally arranged rosette with leaves 6-35 cm long and 4-15 cm wide. The pink flowers grow in a forked aperture.
