The end of a perfect day

I drove to see my Mum to sort out some paper work which required her friend to witness some signatures. We had such a lovely day. We hadn't seen her friend for many months and it was lovely to catch up. I think it did my mum the world of good, despite  the social distancing and needing to be outside, it felt like thinkgs might go back to some kind of normal eventually. I stayed longer than I had intended and on the way home stopped by the canal to catch this early evening shot of the boats. Even the motorway was quiet and I enjoyed the drive home.
