Grosnez

Enjoyed a lovely long walk on the north west coast. This is the ruin of a 14th century castle but many more recent fortifications (WW2) have left their concrete mark on this landscape (in extras). You can see the other channel islands quite clearly from here, specifically Sark through the arch in this pic.

There are also lots of different birds, and I marvel at my birdwatcher friend's knowledge. I've learned a lot today and seen things I wouldn't normally notice. Oh and we also saw a model airplane being flown - a miniature fighter jet, unbelievably authentic in flight and sound. That's my  kind of bird :)
