Party Time!

It was the retirement celebration of a dear friend we met soon after moving to Bellingham. He'd worked his way up through the ranks of the Fire Department, and regaled us with some very interesting stories and photos of his experiences! 

We couldn't help feeling a little nervous at first, but were very happy that this was our first small step back towards a normal social life.
