Welcome to the big wide world

I made an early visit to the Heritage Park hoping to spy the goslings ...... neither Greylag family was anywhere to be seen.

I went back again just before lunch time when it was really very wet and I knew that there wouldn't be too many folk about. I expected that if I did see any youngsters they would be keeping dry by snuggling under mum's wings.

Just more than half way round the loch I struck gold ...... the first Canada Geese goslings, oblivious to the rain, were happily nibbling away at th grass. Seven little ones but they just wouldn't get into a group for me but I suppose two constitutes a small group.
