Birthday Girls

Being rescue kittens, Rani's and Chaiyya's exact birthday is only estimated. But since they were still tiny when rescued, we know they were born in the first week of May, and the 3rd is given as the birthdate in their papers. So we'll celebrate the fact that they are officially grown-up cats from today.

Of course they had to be my blip. And just after I had taken this photo of the sisters resting on the rug in my office, they started fighting each other with teeth and claws (see extra). 

Thankfully, their scuffle stopped as quickly as it started. After all, they're no longer kittens now!
