It has been raining cats and dogs from about 10am today...... we haven't seen much rain for about a month, and the gardens do need it..... but it is quite miserable all the same. 

We had to go into the Newlands area of Glasgow today; an area of beautiful old sandstone houses, quite posh, and with lots of very mature trees...... huge ornamental cherries, and they look wonderful just now.  Even with the rain, their beauty shone through.
