The old wedding present

Emptying some of the bags I brought back from my mother's house and with no blue skies to invite me outside I found these engraved silver napkin rings (does anybody use them nowadays?)-a wedding present to my grandparents in 1919. I know this from a tiny note my mother had stuck on the back; to which she had, in later years added that these were for my son.
