Back and Forth thru time

There Goes the Neighbourhood

Evening all.

The 4th of March 2013 found me plying my trade up and down North East Lincs coastline, and landed me on Cleethorpes sea front after dark, where menace lurks not far from the neon lights and boredom and dispair shadow the local youths stealing their childhood away.

OR at least it would if it was in season, the only people i saw on a mostly deserted sea front was an elderly couple with an elderly dog that clearly resented being forced out for a " last poo before bedtime" walk, or maybe that was the husband, not sure.

Even the amusement arcades were boarded up against the cold and the teeth of the biting wind - lights clearly on, no one home. I couldn't even cheer myself up with a cup of hot black water and a shot of sugary doughnut because they were all hibernating too.

The only other signs of a pulse i saw were a group of twenty or so adolescents riding their bikes on the flat roof of a deserted night club, 30 ft up and pissing into the wind, they were too bored to even bother verbally abusing me,

So i took about ten half hearted photos whilst being half heartedly jeered from the rooftops, bout right really!

night all.
