Lily of the Valley - TT310

The tiny white flowers of the Lily of the Valley, also known as May bells, Our Ladies tears, Mary's tears and Ladder to heaven. For many the Lily of the Valley is symbolic of the coming of Summer. This one came from the garden this morning. The delicate flowers are only just starting to open. The photograph was taken by the kitchen window in front of a white ceramic pot, using only natural sunlight.
