Jersey Tiger Moth (Euplagia quadripunctaria)...
Not much news as such today. Just found this caterpillar by the barn door this morning and now we are getting ready to go to the neighbour's funeral.
We have a stonemason coming at 5 pm to see if we can get a date for a repair job to a crack in one of our barns walls. He was supposed to do it last year but then COVID changed everything. It is not a serious crack but better repaired before a problem may happen. With all the delays last year it still may be sometime before he can arrange it but if we are on the list it helps.
Soup for dinner tonight made from the leftover guinea fowl and the vegetables it was cooked in. I waste nothing :-)
P.S. I forgot to mention that we are eating a slice of pineapple daily, we are told it is good for arthritis. Not sure how long before we see an improvement, but if Mr C can get to make his hand into a fist it will be something. He can't curl his fingers up very far at present. My problem is old breaks from the horse riding days which have returned to haunt me!! Anything is worth a try and we both like pineapple.
Thanks for the visit and keep safe everyone.
