A Dog's Life

Great but exhausting day at Crufts. Lots of photos and hard to choose. But please look here for a flavour of the weird and wonderful thing that is Crufts.

My highlight: As we checked out of the hotel we met a beautiful & friendly dog (Bonnie) in the car park & walked to the NEC with her owners - an Irish couple. On the parting of ways he mentioned that, at aged 12, Bonnie was retiring next year, but she was competing in the dog agility at 11.15 that day. Given my novice interest in dog agility we went along to watch.

Imagine how thrilled we were to be there this evening to see her get a silver medal in the International large dog final at Crufts! She (and he) are twice the age of most of the other competitors....
