Fungus and bluebells

These two subjects seemed to make a nice contrast today.  Our woods are actually classed as "ancient woodlands" and these days are largely left alone.  So when trees or branches fall they are left to gradually rot and that makes the ideal habitat for all sorts of fungi and insects.
