Bluebells at Hatchlands

Went for a walk with a friend through the woods to see the bluebells at Hatchlands NT park. After a very windy rainy night it was surprisingly dry but very little sun. Both the dogs enjoyed the walk.
The extra is Libby in the bluebells .
Good to see primroses, lots of cowslips and wild violets as well as the bluebells. There was a big sign up saying the bluebell has many names......Wild Hyacinth, Wood Bell, Bell Bottle, Cuckoo’s Boots, Wood hyacinth, lady’s nightcap and witches thimbles. I am not familiar with any of these as wherever I have lived they have always been called simply bluebells !
