River of Flowers

Tuesday: Afon Cefni River

Had a list of things to do in Llangefni: grocery shopping at Lidl, sack of sunflower seeds for the birds from Pet & Farm shop, quick visit to B&M for bits & bobs, delivered my postal vote to the Council offices.
Everywhere was reasonably uncrowded.
Walked over the bridge from the council offices and the other side of the river is a car park where the library, archives and so many other buildings used to be when I worked for the council back in the 1970s - now flattened :-(( - progress I suppose ...
Think there's the beginnings of a wildlife mini-meadow next to the river, my attention was caught by a group of 4 birds - thrush-like but very pale, must check out what they were ...
Today’s blip of the Cefni river running past the council offices, eventually to the sea.
For dinner this evening I collected a few sprouting heads of Sea Cabbage - a good sprouting broccoli substitute, boiled with fusilli pasta, frozen broad beans, chopped courgette then served with some Hellman's mayonnaise and grated cheese ... perfect, no effort veggie meal.
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
