Lost and Found

We went back to Berry Head today because we love going there, but also to keep an eye out for the snake photographed on Sunday. Clearly there was no chance of finding it given the area and the terrain. Down in the quarry at our favourite viewpoint there was a racing pigeon. We couldn’t read the bands on its legs but on its wing feathers it was clearly marked Plymouth. It had obviously struggled with the recent strong winds. I had no idea that racing pigeons were marked with identifying letters on their wings. We are going to Dartmoor tomorrow. Probably find a lame duck.
