Bang bang the mighty fall

Back to work today.

My day started with some rolling out of pastry which had lain in the fridge chilling over night.

I rolled; I laid, I rested it.

At coffee break time... I blind baked it.... then discovered it was stuck to the pan and broken into a million pieces.

After work, after the allotment ... I started again.... blind baked, dried my soggy bottom, lined the case with marzipan, spread jam on top and then filled with frangipan..

Back in the oven .... cooked through... decorated with icing sprinkled some almonds on and then ...

I had Bakewell tarts

Hope I can get them out the tray
